My name is Filipp Gunbin (pronounced with [u:]). I live in Saint-Petersburg, Russia, graduated from ITMO and currently work as a Java programmer at Okko, which is a large online cinema, we also stream sports events.
In my free time, I do a bit of free software development, mainly related to GNU Emacs editor. I wrote javaimp, an Emacs package which helps with Java import statements (Maven / Gradle) and provides basic navigation in Java projects. I’ve also made some small contributions to Emacs itself.
I love music, my all-time favourites are New Order, The Gloaming, Fernhill, Lau, Steve Reich, but there’re also many others. I play bass from time to time and recently started writing songs.
For some time I was an active volunteer in a public movement supporting recycling.
